Rome – Matchday 22 of the 2025/26 Serie A season promises to be packed with high-profile refereeing action. The Italian Referees Association has released its official refereeing appointments: key matches include Juventus-Napoli, refereed by Maurizio Mariani of the Aprilia section, scheduled for Sunday, January 25th at 6:00 PM, and Roma-Milan, refereed by Andrea Colombo of Como, scheduled for the same matchday but with kick-off at 8:45 PM.

For the big match in Turin, Mariani will be supported by assistant referees Tegoni and Berti, fourth official Marchetti, and the VAR panel composed of Doveri and Di Paolo. This is a proven six-man squad for a match that could weigh heavily on the Scudetto race and their European ambitions.

At the Olimpico, Colombo will lead Roma-Milan with the help of linesmen Perrotti and Rossi, fourth official Zufferli and VAR officials Di Bello and Abisso. The first match of the round will be the early match on Friday 23 January: Inter-Pisa (20.45pm) entrusted to Matteo Marcenaro from Genoa.

The choice of referees for these matches is very important, and I hope there are no mistakes. Mariani and Colombo are good, but they've made mistakes in the past. We'll see how it goes, and I hope the teams do well.
