Naples – A new lifeblood is preparing to officially enter the Campania healthcare system. Tomorrow, Wednesday, January 14, starting at 16:30 PM, the evocative setting of the Galatea Hall at the Naples Maritime Station Conference Center will host the solemn Professional Oath ceremony.
Approximately 600 young nurses and pediatric nurses, after completing their academic program, will receive official investiture. This fundamental rite of passage marks their formal enrollment in the Registers of the OPI (Order of Nursing Professions) of Naples and their ethical commitment to caring for the public.
A notable institutional audience
The event represents not only an individual milestone for the new members, but also a moment of strategic discussion for the regional healthcare system. Key figures from the institutions and the cultural world will be present at the ceremony:
Massimiliano Manfredi, President of the Regional Council of Campania;
Vincenzo Santagada, Councilor for Health of the Municipality of Naples;
The Rectors and Deans of the main Neapolitan universities.
In addition to political and academic leaders, religious authorities and representatives of civil society are expected to attend, demonstrating the social value that the role of the nurse holds today more than ever.
The value of the oath
Tomorrow's investiture marks the formal entry into a professional community called upon to meet the challenges of a constantly evolving healthcare system. For the 600 participants, the oath is the seal on a mission that combines high-level technical expertise and a profound ethic of care.
