Acerra – The State Police continues its patrol and control of the territory. Yesterday, an extraordinary operation was implemented in Acerra, aimed at combating crime and strengthening the sense of security among residents.
The operation involved officers from the Acerra Police Station, supported by the Campania Crime Prevention Unit, who carried out checkpoints and inspections in the most sensitive areas of the municipality.
During the operation, a total of 58 people were identified, 16 of whom were already known to law enforcement due to criminal records. Fifteen vehicles were also checked, ensuring their documentation was in order and that they complied with the Highway Code.
The activity is part of a broader prevention strategy implemented by the Police Headquarters, aimed at intensifying law enforcement presence in the area and combating widespread illegality, petty crime, and urban decay. Similar checks will continue in the coming days.

The police operation appears to be a positive initiative for Acerra's security, but it would be useful to have more information on how the checkpoints are selected and whether these activities produce tangible results.
