Agnano, Naples, began work today to reopen a road closed by a collapse two months ago. This is a crucial step to restore mobility in the neighborhood and improve connections with the surrounding valley.

NAPLES – Work began this morning on the slope of the Terme di Agnano, damaged by a collapse that two months ago forced the closure of a road crucial to the neighborhood's transportation and connections to the Agnano basin. The project, initiated by the City of Naples, involves the use of special vehicles and will continue through holidays to expedite the reopening of the road.

On site was Avs MP Francesco Emilio Borrelli, who has long been working with Europa Verde regional executive member Rosario Pugliese to push for the work to begin immediately. "We have been assured that the work will continue without interruption, even on holidays," Borrelli stated, "to ensure the road is passable as soon as possible. We will continue to monitor the situation closely."

The collapse temporarily isolated the neighborhood, complicating transportation and traffic, necessitating urgent intervention by the city administration. The resumption of work therefore represents a decisive step toward restoring normalcy and ensuring safety and accessibility for residents.

Yes, indeed. But I hope the means used are adequate and don't cause further problems during the work. It's already a difficult situation for those who live there.

It's good that work is being done on the closed road, but I hope there aren't any further delays. Mobility is important to all of us, and I look forward to seeing the results soon.
