A 28-year-old man has been suspended and placed under house arrest. The investigation began following a complaint filed by students who disclosed information to teachers. He allegedly sexually abused eight students under the age of 14, including forced physical contact and holding them in isolated areas of the school, such as the assembly hall or the restrooms, taking advantage of his position as a school assistant at a comprehensive school in the lower Reggio Emilia area.
The Carabinieri have immediately suspended a 28-year-old man accused of sexual assault from public service for one year and ordered him to remain at home, with a ban on going out in the evenings. These measures were requested by the Reggio Emilia Prosecutor's Office and ordered by the investigating judge. The investigation was triggered by a complaint filed after students confided in their teachers.
