Acerra The extraordinary territorial control services implemented by the Naples Police Headquarters to combat drug trafficking continue unabated.
As part of these operations, yesterday afternoon the State Police arrested two men aged 20 and 34, both residents of Acerra, caught red-handed for illegal possession of drugs for the purpose of dealing.
The operation began on Via Matteotti, where officers from the Acerra Police Station, suspicious of the behavior of the two individuals stopped near a building, began a surveillance operation.
During the surveillance, the officers observed one of the two men taking a package from a nearby hidden bag and handing it to a buyer in exchange for money, while his accomplice acted as a lookout. The buyer then quickly walked away.
At that point, the police intervened and arrested the two alleged pushers. During the checks, one of the arrested individuals was found in possession of approximately 50 euros, believed to be the proceeds of drug dealing.
The bag used to conceal the drugs was also recovered: inside were found 10 bars of hashish, for a total weight of approximately 21 grams, and 16 doses of cocaine, equal to approximately 4 grams.
In light of the evidence gathered, the two men were arrested and placed at the disposal of the judicial authorities.
