Naples – The Nest stage (Napoli Est Teatro) is preparing to host one of the most anticipated events of the theater season. On Saturday, January 10th (20:00 PM) and Sunday, January 11th (17:30 PM), Maurizio De Giovanni and Marco Zurzolo will star in "Passione," an original work that blends literature and music to convey the true essence of Neapolitan song.
The genesis of the myth
The show goes beyond simple musical performance, delving deeply into the poetic roots of a universal cultural heritage. Through De Giovanni's narrative voice, the audience is led into the lives of the authors: men and women who transformed the suffering, joy, and moods of their time into immortal melodies.
It's a journey that aims to restore dignity and pride to Neapolitan identity, revealing the human and historical context in which masterpieces capable of transcending all geographical boundaries were born.
A poetic union
The project was born from the artistic partnership between the writer and saxophonist Marco Zurzolo, a collaboration that transforms the stage into a laboratory of emotions. "Passione" is a heartfelt tribute to a land capable of generating timeless beauty.
The synergy between De Giovanni's refined words and Zurzolo's notes creates a magical atmosphere, designed to strike a chord with collective memory and gratitude.
Services and logistics
To facilitate public flow to the Naples East cultural center, the organization has provided dedicated services. In addition to free parking, a free round-trip shuttle will be available from Piazza Bovio (reservations required via WhatsApp). For information and reservations, please call 081 1952 1956.

I think it's important to support Neapolitan culture, but I don't know if there will be enough seats for everyone. I hope the organization is well prepared to avoid crowding.
The upcoming event looks very interesting, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to go. The synergy between De Giovanni and Zurzolo is something that always fascinates me, but I'm afraid of the traffic in Naples.
