Naples – The Campania Region's Civil Protection Department has issued a weather alert for strong northwesterly winds, with gusts and resulting rough seas, which will affect much of the region from 8:00 PM today until 2:00 PM tomorrow, Thursday, January 8. The alert, which has no color code, applies to all areas except Alta Irpinia and Sannio (zone 4) and Tanagro (zone 7).
The hydrogeological warning is green: precipitation is easing or already fading. However, the competent authorities are advised to monitor public green spaces and check the stability of structures exposed to wave motion and wind gusts.
A yellow weather warning remains in effect until 8:00 PM today for showers and thunderstorms, with a risk of flooding and flooding throughout Campania.
