Anguillara Sabazia – The parents of Claudio Agostino Carlomagno, the man arrested on charges of murdering his wife, Federica Torzullo, were found dead in their home in Anguillara Sabazia, just outside Rome. Pasquale Carlomagno and Maria Messenio were found dead inside the family home.

According to initial information, investigators are currently favoring suicide. The two were found hanged. The Carabinieri responded to the scene and are conducting investigations to accurately reconstruct the events and rule out the involvement of third parties.

According to Adnkronos, the couple left a letter addressed to their other son, Davide Carlomagno, explaining the reasons for their actions. The contents of the message are now being examined by investigators.

Maria Messenio, Claudio Carlomagno's mother, was until a few days ago the councilor for security in the municipality of Anguillara Sabazia. She resigned after the discovery of her daughter-in-law's body and the arrest of her son, both of which occurred in recent days.

The case unfolds in the context of the femicide of Federica Torzullo, a case that deeply shocked the local community. Investigations continue on both fronts, while investigators remain vigilant in seeking all the information needed to clarify a family tragedy that unfolded in the space of just a few days.
