He had escaped from house arrest and was hiding in Varcaturo, where he was caught in possession of drugs and an illegal weapon. For this reason, the State Police arrested Simone Sacchettino, a 32-year-old Neapolitan resident in the province of Foggia.
The man is the brother of Vincenzo Sacchettino, the actor best known for playing "Danielino" in the TV series Gomorrah, the young mechanic recruited by Ciro Di Marzio and then killed by Salvatore Conte in the famous "Come and get your pardon" scene.
The former actor's last arrest dates back to May 2022 when he was arrested in Aversa together with his father Pasquale, 57, and his other brother Raffaele, 30, for having set up a traveling drug dealing ring.
Simone Sacchettino was arrested yesterday morning following a search by officers from the Pozzuoli Police Station at a home in Varcaturo. Inside a carefully concealed closet, officers found two pieces of hashish, weighing approximately 32 grams, and a pistol with its serial number removed.
Subsequent investigations revealed that Sacchettino was under house arrest in the Foggia area and had been on the run since December 31st. He was charged with evasion, possession of an unlicensed weapon, illegal possession of narcotics, and receiving stolen goods.
The 32-year-old, already known to law enforcement for previous drug dealing, is believed by investigators to be connected to the Raia clan, operating in the Chalet Bakù area of Scampia. After the usual formalities, he was transferred to the attention of the judicial authorities.
