Territorial control continues unabated in Chiaiano, where yesterday the State Police deployed an extraordinary operation to combat widespread crime and monitor compliance with restrictive measures.
The operation, conducted by officers from the Chiaiano Police Station with the support of the "Nibbio" units of the Office of General Prevention and Public Rescue and the collaboration of the Municipal Police, led to the identification of 90 people, 14 of whom had criminal records.
Particular attention was paid to individuals subject to alternative or restrictive measures of personal freedom: 21 individuals, including house arrestees and individuals subject to other judicial measures, were monitored as part of a targeted effort to ensure compliance with the imposed provisions.
During the checks, 51 vehicles were also checked, one of which was impounded. Overall, law enforcement officials reported 12 traffic violations, while ANM personnel issued 102 fines for illegal parking in their designated areas.
The activity is part of a broader strategy to monitor the territory, aimed at strengthening the perception of security and combating illegal behaviour, with particular attention to individuals already known to the police.

This police operation is very important for the safety of our community. While the numbers seem good, there's still much to be done to reduce crime and ensure compliance. We hope it continues this way.
