Naples – Yesterday afternoon, the State Police arrested a 22-year-old Neapolitan man caught red-handed selling drugs from his car in the San Pietro a Patierno neighborhood. The man is charged with unlawful possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking and has also been charged with repeated driving without a license.
Officers from the Secondigliano Police Station had set up a targeted surveillance operation in the San Pietro a Patierno area. During the check, officers documented at least four drug deals: the 22-year-old, sitting behind the wheel of his car, was handing over small packages to as many buyers in exchange for cash.
The blitz and the kidnapping
After witnessing the illicit transactions, officers quickly intervened and arrested the young dealer. A search of the vehicle led to the discovery of 13 packages of cocaine and €85 in cash, believed to be the proceeds of drug dealing. The 22-year-old was arrested and handed over to the judicial authorities.
