Naples – The Cardarelli Hospital's Monumental Pavilion is returning to the community after a restoration. The "restitution" event to the city is scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, January 8th, starting at 10:00 a.m., with a comprehensive program including a ceremony, inaugurations, and a public meeting in the renovated Salone Moriello.

The morning will begin on the main staircase with the unveiling of a sculpture by artist Lello Esposito. Following this, the new reception area will be inaugurated on the ground floor: a dedicated information, orientation, and support desk, along with a presentation of the visual communication project planned for the walls.

At 10:30 a.m., on the second floor, in the Salone Moriello—which has undergone a conservative restoration and been updated with modern fixtures and systems—the meeting "Cardarelli Hospital, at the Heart of the Community" will be held. Speakers will include Cardarelli General Manager Antonio d'Amore, Prefect Michele di Bari of Naples, and Mayor Gaetano Manfredi of Naples and the Metropolitan City, along with actress Marina Confalone and Roberto Fico. The meeting will be chaired by Antonello Perillo, national co-director of TGR Rai.

The conference will also present the hospital's new institutional video, created with writer Maurizio de Giovanni, and will screen a testimonial by journalist Myrta Merlino dedicated to her grandfather Giulio Palermo, a pulmonologist after whom the pavilion of the same name is named.

There will also be a visual communications project dedicated to the history of Cardarelli: from the "great masters" who have worked on the wards since 1946, to the successive chief physicians and general managers who have led the company, to the patients who have chosen to share their experiences and experiences with their own personalities. The participation of civil, military, and religious authorities has been announced, as well as representatives from the healthcare sector, universities, publishing, professional and business sectors, and patient associations.

Yes, it's true that the hospital plays a fundamental role in healthcare. It's great to have a new reception area, but I hope it's functional as well as aesthetic.

The Cardarelli Hospital is very important to the community of Naples. The restoration of the monumental pavilion is great news. I hope tomorrow's ceremony goes well and there are many attendees. It will be interesting to see Esposito's sculpture.
