Caserta – Carabinieri recovered a stolen scooter using GPS. It happened this morning in Caserta, where Carabinieri from the local Carabinieri Company's Mobile Radio Unit were deployed. They found an electric scooter, stolen on December 27th in the municipality of Bagnoli.
The GPS tracking system installed on the vehicle was crucial to the discovery, allowing the Carabinieri to locate the scooter hidden inside the garage of a private home in the city center of Caserta.
The garage belongs to a 40-year-old man from Caserta, already known to the police, who has been reported for receiving stolen goods.
The stolen goods were immediately recovered and returned to their rightful owner, while the Judicial Authority was informed by the Carabinieri of the Operational and Radiomobile Unit of the Caserta Company, who are proceeding.
