The operation, launched today, is part of a precautionary measure implemented in conjunction with the relevant municipal office, aimed at verifying the condition of residential structures and adjacent properties. Inspections are ongoing and are focused on identifying any critical issues that could pose a risk to residents and passersby.
The incident brings attention to a situation that had previously emerged in the same area: the previous evacuation, ordered precisely to prevent building-related risks, made the area safe and – as highlighted at the time – helped prevent serious consequences for people.
There are currently no injuries, while the results of the technical checks are awaited to determine if and when people will be allowed to return to their homes or if further measures will be necessary.
