CERCOLA. A family-run drug dealing operation was busted by Carabinieri officers from the Cercola station in the province of Naples. An uncle and his nephew, aged 50 and 42, respectively, both already known to law enforcement, were arrested for possession of narcotics with intent to distribute.
The officers stopped them during a drug bust while they were traveling in a Fiat Panda. The search led to the discovery of seven doses of cocaine, ready for sale, hidden in the car.
The operation was then extended to the couple's home, where the Carabinieri seized another 57,2 grams of cocaine, drug packaging materials, and approximately €500 in cash, believed to be the proceeds of the illegal activity. Following the operation, the uncle and nephew were placed under house arrest and are currently awaiting trial.

Exemplary punishments… THE STATE ALWAYS WINS
This news is very worrying, but it's also important that law enforcement agencies do their job. We hope the authorities continue to fight drug trafficking to ensure the safety of citizens.
