An immediate trial has been announced for the November 11 raid that targeted the leaders of the D'Alessandro clan in Castellammare di Stabia. The order was signed by preliminary investigations judge Anna Tirone, who—accepting the request of the District Anti-Mafia Directorate—ordered the preliminary hearing to be postponed, deeming the evidence "clear" and deeming further investigations "currently" unnecessary.

The trial will begin on April 8th before the Torre Annunziata Court, with a collegiate session, and the schedule promises to be tense given the scale of the charges.

The main charge is the mafia-type association, with the aggravating circumstance of "armed" association, and with the attribution to Pasquale D'Alessandro, Vincenzo D'Alessandro and Paolo Carolei of the role of promoters/organizers/directors of the association.

The protests against the three main promoters

The decree reconstructs in detail the economic sectors and territorial contexts in which the clan allegedly exercised its intimidating power: from extortion to construction sites, to the control of activities considered strategic in the Castellammare area. Among the examples cited in the documents are references to interests in services and supplies (such as the management of economic activities related to construction and procurement), as well as alleged pressure and extortion of entrepreneurs, including through intermediaries.

The documents describe an alleged operational "directorate" consisting of meetings in bars and clubs around the city, with methods aimed – according to the prosecution – at evading wiretaps (phones left far away, whispered conversations).

In several passages, investigators assign specific roles: who would have managed the cash register and distributed the money, who would have handled the collection of extortion and monitored the construction sites, and who would have acted as logistical and operational liaison for the "actions" in the area.

The decree also cites incidents and circumstances that, according to the prosecution's argument, outline the clan's operations between 2023 and the end of 2024, detailing individual extortion incidents and conduct deemed instrumental to territorial control.

The evidence used includes information, wiretaps, environmental recordings, video recordings, and minutes of summary information/testimony, as well as interrogations of collaborators of justice.

Charges and key points

Mafia association was charged, with the aggravating circumstance of armed association and, for some, of a leadership role.

Trial date: April 8, 2026, 11 a.m., Torre Annunziata Court (collegial, Panel C).

I'm no legal expert, but the charges seem very serious to me. I only hope the truth comes out and justice takes its course without interference.

The article discusses a very complex case involving several individuals accused of serious crimes. It's interesting to see how the justice system handles these cases, although many unknowns remain.
