Ceppaloni – The finance police of the Montesarchio station, acting on behalf of the Benevento Public Prosecutor's Office, executed a direct and equivalent seizure ordered by the ordinary court of the capital city of Sannio.
The ruling, now final and binding, affects the legal representative of a company based in Ceppaloni, specializing in the installation of electrical and technical systems.
Confiscation of evaded sums and assets amounting to 261.160 euros
The operation stems from investigations coordinated by the Benevento Prosecutor's Office and conducted by the local Guardia di Finanza. Revenues totaled €1.243.619, with €261.160 in unpaid taxes. This sum has already been partially confiscated (€88.000 so far), and the equivalent amount has been allocated to movable and immovable property registered to the convicted man, which has been acquired by the Treasury.
Massive tax evasion on "undeclared" sales: The lawyer failed to file a tax return, concealing €1.130.000 worth of products sold without an invoice, which vanished from the balance sheets.
Obstruction and destruction of documents: During the tax audit, he failed to produce his accounting records, preventing the reconstruction of his business volume. Subsequent investigations and trials revealed that he destroyed them to evade inspections and hinder tax authorities.
Local context: The company operated in the Sannio region, a strategic sector for the construction industry: yet another blow to the tax crime that is eroding the Campania economy.
The investigation uncovers a proven system for direct tax and VAT fraud, with practices that have hindered the tax authorities for years. The Guardia di Finanza (Italian Finance Police) is continuing its local inspections to uncover further irregularities.

The operation carried out by the Guardia di Finanza seems significant, but I don't understand how a company could evade so much tax without being discovered earlier. I hope these measures can help improve the tax situation.
