NAPLES. A flurry of checks were conducted in the Maradona Stadium area during yesterday afternoon's football match. Local police intensified their presence in the area, conducting targeted checks at businesses and parking areas to ensure safety and compliance with regulations during the influx of fans.
During the operation, seven neighborhood businesses were inspected and fines were issued for violating the mayoral ordinance prohibiting the sale of beverages in glass containers, a measure designed to protect public safety on match days. Other fines involved illegal occupation of public land, while two seizures involved goods offered for sale by unlicensed individuals.
