Naples - Yesterday, the Naples Police Headquarters raised its guard in Porta Capuana, a neighborhood known for social tensions and urban decay. Staff from the State Police's Vicariate-Mercato Police Station, along with the Carabinieri, Guardia di Finanza, and Local Police, launched an extraordinary patrol of the area, combing every corner of the area.
Report: 37 criminals among those arrested
The officers identified 134 individuals, 37 of whom had criminal records, closely monitoring risk profiles. Two individuals were immediately charged: one for driving without a license repeatedly within two years, the other for receiving stolen goods.
Two additional people were administratively fined for possession of narcotics for personal use.
Not just pedestrians: 39 vehicles were checked, with three traffic violations reported on the spot. This operation strengthens the crackdown on daily lawlessness in a strategic area like Porta Capuana.
