CURTI. A violent domestic dispute escalates into an assault on law enforcement officers and ends with an arrest. It happened in the town center of Curti, in the province of Caserta, where Carabinieri from the Santa Maria Capua Vetere branch responded to a report of a particularly heated argument between a father and son.
When the officers arrived to restore calm and assess the situation inside the home, the son, a 27-year-old resident, suddenly lost control and lunged at the police. The attack required immediate intervention to contain him and ensure the safety of everyone present.
The young man was taken to the police station for formal procedures and placed under arrest on charges of assault and resisting a public officer. Following the investigation, he was transferred to the Santa Maria Capua Vetere prison, where he will be held by the judicial authorities.

The Curti story is very alarming, but I wonder if there have been similar situations in the past. It's worrying to see how family tensions can erupt into violence, especially against law enforcement.
