Two centuries of prison for the Salicelle clan, with appeals granting relief: the boss's partner is acquitted.

The sentences for the 19 defendants of the Sasso-Parziale gang, a Moccia branch that dominated Afragola, have been reduced. The prosecution's drug and racketeering charges hold up, but the sentences are reduced thanks to mitigating circumstances. Annamaria De Luca has been definitively exonerated.

Afragola – The second-degree trial against the Sasso-Parziale clan, the criminal syndicate that established its hegemony in the Salicelle district of Afragola through drug dealing and raids, has concluded with a flurry of sentence reductions, but with the prosecution's case essentially holding up.

The judges of the fourth criminal section of the Naples Court of Appeal yesterday issued their verdicts against 19 defendants, imposing a total of nearly two centuries of prison time, a significant figure that nevertheless represents a marked reduction compared to the penalties imposed in the first instance.

At the heart of the investigation, conducted by the Anti-Mafia Directorate (DDA) and supported by investigations by the Carabinieri of Castello di Cisterna and the Flying Squad, is the violent rise of the group, considered an offshoot of the powerful Moccia clan. According to investigators' reconstruction, the Sasso and Parziale families had established a reign of terror between Afragola and Casoria, monopolizing drug trafficking in the popular Salicelle "stecche" (sandwiches) and imposing rackets on merchants and entrepreneurs.

Control of the territory maintained through force of arms: during the investigations, the availability of a war arsenal emerged, used for intimidating raids and to assert criminal supremacy over rival groups.

Despite the seriousness of the charges, which range from Camorra-style association and drug trafficking to extortion and weapons possession, the defense team's strategy (comprising, among others, attorneys Dario Carmine Procentese, Luigi Poziello, Luca Pagliaro, and Antonio Bucci) was effective. The Court recognized mitigating circumstances, significantly reducing the sentences previously imposed under the summary trial.

Among the top positions, the 16-year sentence handed down to Antonio Sasso, believed to be the leader of the eponymous faction, and the 14-year sentence handed down to Vittorio Parziale, are noteworthy. The verdict against Giuseppe Sasso, aka "'o Nennillo," a young boss already well-known in the news, was significant: his sentence was increased by six years. The turning point, however, came with the definitive acquittal of Annamaria De Luca: the woman, partner of the alleged instigator Nicola Luongo, emerged clean from the trial, having seen the charges against her dropped.

But if two centuries of time are equal to 200 years in prison, there are people who say throw away the keys. They're few, but do you really do it? And if it's 200 years, so what?

But whoever posts the newspaper is either drunk or doesn't know how to write. Which means "absolute." But at least when you post the news, you check it. The word "absolute" has a different meaning than the word "absolute."

Gennaro Borrelli for nothing but harming honest people I would put the death penalty for those who kill without mercy and you see that they no longer kill anyone to death for those who kill
