The beginning of 2026 marks an extremely positive moment for Guinness TravelsThe tour operator, specialized in organized trips with a guide departing from Italy, has recorded encouraging market signals since the first months of the year.
These results are the fruit of a well-defined consolidation strategy, which focuses on expanding operations, establishing a widespread presence across the country, and implementing commercial policies designed to protect travelers and simplify the work of travel agencies.
The expansion of departures from Italian airports
One of the cornerstones of the new programming is the choice of significantly increase air connectionsGuinness Travel has expanded its escorted departures to include more Italian ports: Milan, Venice, Bologna, Naples, Bari, Catania, Palermo, and Cagliari.
This decision was born from the desire to respond to a specific market demand, namely make the travel experience more comfortable and accessible from the very beginning, avoiding long transfers to major hubs for customers. Despite the proliferation of departure points, the tour operator guarantees the presence of a tour leader from Italy even at alternative airports, maintaining the high standards of assistance and quality that distinguish the brand.
The tour of the territory and the dialogue with the agencies
In parallel with the operational expansion, 2026 sees the roadshow return to full capacity “See you at your place“The initiative, which has already been a great success, includes over one hundred stops throughout Italy.
The format was designed to maintain a direct contact and constant with travel agencies, going beyond the traditional catalog presentation. It's an opportunity for discussion and listening, useful for sharing strategies and strengthening collaboration based on personal relationships and proximity.
The three pillars of safety and care
For the current year, Guinness Travel has introduced a further strategic step aimed at offering greater guarantees for passengers and to simplify the operations of agenciesThis approach is based on three fundamental elements.
The first is the strengthening of the insurance policy, now among the most comprehensive on the market: in addition to a maximum coverage of up to €100.000 and a 15% deductible, the base package price now includes cancellation and interruption of the trip for any reason, including force majeure. This helps to better protect the traveler and eliminate potential problems before departure and during the trip.
The second element is the 24-hour operational managementThe on-site tour leader is constantly supported by remote staff, allowing for the timely resolution of any unforeseen issues directly during the tour, ensuring a seamless travel experience and consistent quality of service.
Finally, the third element concerns the post-travel dispute management: the company aims at prevention, attempting to intervene during the stay itself. In the exceptional case where documented critical issues arise upon return, Guinness Travel will take an immediate conciliation approach.
The success of early bookings
From a commercial point of view, the first quarter of the year showed a strong acceleration in sales, driven by formula "Ultra Early Booking".
This promotion is valid for those who book by February 28, confirms itself as a very effective tool for encouraging purchases and helping travellers save money.
For trips departing in April, the formula allows you to lock in the price avoiding risks of currency adjustments or increases in airport taxes, while also offering discounts based on the value of the tripFor departures from May onwards, these benefits are added to a extra bonus for each person.
This is a policy that rewards advance planning, ensuring transparency and budget protection in a market environment that increasingly demands greater clarity.

I agree with you, Helga12. Even though departures have increased, the quality of service must be maintained. I hope the company listens to customer needs to further improve.
I think Guinness Travel is doing a good job, but there's still a lot to improve. Air connections have increased, but some airports are still not well served, and this can cause inconvenience to travelers.
