Yet another fatal accident has occurred on the A1 Naples-Rome highway. It occurred this morning shortly after 7:00 a.m. For reasons currently under investigation, a violent collision occurred between a motorcycle and a car between the Caserta highway barrier and the stretch leading to Naples.
Upon impact, the person on the motorcycle was thrown meters away and fell violently onto the pavement, suffering serious injuries that caused his death. An ambulance arrived at the scene, and the emergency responders could do nothing but confirm his death.
The driver of the car suffered minor injuries and was in shock. The traffic police are conducting all necessary investigations to determine the circumstances of the accident and any liability. Meanwhile, the driver of the car has also undergone all necessary tests to determine whether he was fit to drive at the time of the impact.
Traffic is experiencing severe delays.
