Portici – During the night between Tuesday and Wednesday, Carabinieri from the San Giorgio a Cremano station arrested Luciano Vollaro, 54, already known to law enforcement, for throwing bottles at parked cars and resisting a public officer.
The alarm was raised around 1:20 a.m. on Via della Libertà, where the operations center reported a man intent on damaging parked vehicles. The police responded quickly, locating Vollaro at number 335. Visibly upset, likely from alcohol or drug abuse, the man immediately verbally attacked a female Carabiniere, using sexist and insulting comments.
When a second patrol from the Ercolano station arrived on the scene, Vollaro attempted to attack the Carabinieri and flee. He was apprehended after a struggle, arrested, and taken to the station. The investigation is continuing to clarify the motives for the attack and determine any further culprits.

The news of Luciano Vollaro's arrest seems a bit exaggerated to me, as there are so many security issues that aren't being addressed. Perhaps we should try to better understand the situation before passing judgment.
