On the eve of the big match at the Allianz Stadium against Juventus, Vanja Milinkovic-Savic sends a clear message to the league and Napoli's direct rivals. The Serbian goalkeeper of the Italian champions is the protagonist of the third episode of "My Skills," the DAZN interview series hosted by Hernanes, and leaves no room for interpretation: "We're all here to win."

A statement that goes beyond a single match and captures the mentality with which Antonio Conte's Napoli approaches the season. "I don't play if I don't want to win," Milinkovic-Savic explains. "Whatever I do in life, I want to win. Even when I have children, I will never let them win. I have to win, at all costs." These words resonate like a warning, especially ahead of the direct clash with Juventus, who will be pitted against a team that doesn't calculate.

During the interview, the "Serbian giant" also retraces his personal journey, from his early offensive calling to his decision to become a goalkeeper. "I wasn't born to save, I was born to score," he says. "I was a striker, a goalscorer beyond belief. I only saw the goal; I never passed it. Then I saw what strikers have to do today, all those sprints and runs, and I realized that we ran less in goal." A transformation that hasn't erased his technical ability, now one of the hallmarks of his game.

The inevitable reference to his brother Sergej, formerly of Serie A and now at Al-Hilal. "He misses Italy a bit, you can see it because he comes back so often," says Vanja. "Once you get used to Italy, it's hard to change. He's never scored against me and he never will. We've been competing against him since we were little: I give 200% against my brother, I wouldn't sleep if he scored."

There's also room for a personal detail like his jersey number, 32, chosen in homage to Christian Abbiati. "As a kid, I saw an Atlético Madrid match in Serbia when Abbiati was playing," he recalls. "Seeing such a team live was incredible. He struck me, and I immediately liked his number." A number that today defends Napoli's goalposts and carries a clear message: the title race also depends on the hunger of those who play only to win.

This article is about Vanja Milinkovic-Savic, but I feel like there are too many unclear words. His desire to win is evident, but his statements are a bit exaggerated in my opinion. The comparison with his brother is also interesting.
