The complaint to the Prosecutor's Office: "Clarification of diagnosis and treatment"
The family has filed a complaint with the Prosecutor's Office to reconstruct every stage of the young man's medical care and verify any medical liability. The complaint was filed by the mother's partner, Luigi Marra.
The document alleges the crime of manslaughter in a healthcare setting and requests an investigation into possible diagnostic errors, premature discharges, or delays in tests and treatments, as well as a causal link with the death.
Reconstruction: from the first symptoms to hospitalization
According to reports, it all began on December 20, 2025, with an eye problem. After a specialist visit in Capaccio-Paestum, further evaluation was recommended at the hospital, and on the same day, Noah was admitted to Vallo della Lucania for further tests.
He was supposedly discharged on December 22nd, with a follow-up scheduled for January 7th, 2026. However, according to the reconstruction provided in the document, once he returned home, the 19-year-old's condition rapidly deteriorated: he was hospitalized again, transferred to intensive care, and underwent brain surgery.
“Reassurances about the operation”, then the death
The family, it is reported, had been reassured about the outcome of the operation and his chances of recovery. Then, today, the news of the young man's death.
The requests: autopsy, medical records and hearings
The demands presented in the complaint include the seizure of the body for an autopsy, the acquisition of medical records and medical documentation, and the hearing of health workers and other persons with knowledge of the facts.
