Naples – The wave of gun-related violence among young people in Naples continues unabated. The latest incident occurred in the dead of night between January 5th and 6th in the Agnano neighborhood, a hub for nightlife in the Phlegraean Fields.
According to initial reconstructions, a 20-year-old man was wounded by a gunshot while he was near a well-known nightclub on Via Scarfoglio.
The victim, who fortunately is not in life-threatening condition, arrived independently or was accompanied to the emergency room at San Paolo Hospital. There, doctors diagnosed a gunshot wound to the left leg, which was deemed non-serious.
The dynamics under investigation by investigators
State Police officers immediately arrived on the scene to take the young man's statement. He told officers that he had been approached by an unknown man who, for no apparent reason, pulled out his gun and fired, then disappeared.
The case has now been handed over to the Bagnoli Police Station, who are working to verify the reliability of the victim's version of events. Investigators are examining video surveillance footage from the area and surrounding premises, which is crucial to identifying the attacker and determining whether the injury was the result of a sudden argument or a planned attack.

And another terrible episode in Naples. Young people should be careful not to go out at night. Guns are dangerous, and it's unclear why there's so much violence among young people. It's sad.
