Naples – A new crackdown on drug dealing in the eastern part of the city. Carabinieri from the Poggioreale branch seized a large quantity of narcotics in the Connolo neighborhood, an area considered strategic for the illegal market controlled by the Mazzarella clan.
During a check, officers found a bag containing 376 doses of drugs, pre-packaged and ready for retail sale, in the basement of a building on Via Claudio Miccoli. Specifically, the seizure included 71 sticks of hashish, 65 bags of marijuana, 94 doses of cocaine, and 146 doses of crack.
According to investigators, the area is under the influence of young boss Luciano Barattolo, believed to be a leading member of the Mazzarella group active in the area.

In recent months, investigative sources explain, there has been a significant increase in drug trafficking in the area, accompanied however by an intensification of law enforcement activities.
In November alone, two major seizures were made within the space of a week: first one kilogram, then nine kilograms of drugs, confirming the high turnover and investigative pressure in the area.

It's interesting to know that the situation is changing in the area, but I wonder if law enforcement is doing enough to stop this phenomenon. Greater commitment is needed to ensure the safety of citizens.
The article talks about a drug seizure in Naples, but it doesn't explain exactly how they discovered the location. I also wonder if there have been any arrests and if more is known about the boss.
