Naples – The hunt is on for three masked bandits who last night attacked and injured Andrea and Gianluca Pisacane, 67 and 27 years old respectively, the father and brother of Cagliari coach Fabio Pisacane.
The incident occurred in the Spanish Quarter, a few meters from the “Pisadog19” restaurant and bar, in Vico Tre Re in Toledo, a business run by the family.
It was around 4 a.m. when the two were surprised from behind as they were leaving the club, on the corner of Vico Lungo Teatro Nuovo. The three hooded attackers, one of them armed with a gun, reportedly targeted the younger man in particular. Gianluca Pisacane was struck in the face with a broken glass bottle and, after a struggle, shot twice in the legs.

His father Andrea, who intervened to defend him, was instead punched, without suffering serious consequences.

Officers from the Naples Police Headquarters' Flying Squad, along with their colleagues from the Montecalvario police station, are investigating the incident. Among the leads being explored by investigators is that of revenge following an argument that broke out a few hours earlier outside the bar, involving an employee and several women.
On that occasion, Gianluca Pisacane, with no criminal record, intervened to calm things down, thus ending up in the attackers' sights.
However, other hypotheses are not ruled out. The nature of the ambush—planned, carried out at night, and by disguised individuals—suggests an organized attack, carried out by individuals accustomed to operating in criminal environments and aware of the presence of video surveillance cameras in the local alleys, the footage of which is now being examined by investigators.
Gianluca Pisacane was admitted for observation to Pellegrini Hospital, while his father, after checking on his son's condition, returned home. Both filed a complaint at the hospital and cooperated with investigators. Fabio Pisacane, visibly shaken, took to social media to clarify that the attack was solely aimed at his brother.
