Naples – The severe weather that hit the city has hampered maritime traffic to Ischia and Procida, as well as to Capri. Some ferry crossings have been running since this morning, but many others have been canceled due to adverse weather conditions.
The strong south-westerly wind and very rough seas have made almost all high-speed routes impassable, both from Molo Beverello and Pozzuoli.
Currently, only a few connections to and from Pozzuoli are guaranteed, while traffic to Ischia and Procida is almost completely blocked. Weather forecasts predict further worsening of sea conditions in the coming hours, threatening further disruption for those needing to reach the Campanian islands.

Frankly, it's a bit disappointing that the ferry routes have been canceled. Passengers traveling to Ischia and Procida are having transportation issues, especially those who booked in advance. Hopefully, things will improve.
