Nocera Inferiore – An afternoon of shock and controversy in Nocera Inferiore, where the traditional "Cavalcata dei Re Magi" parade was marred by a tragic event. A horse, pulling one of the carriages in the historical procession, suddenly collapsed, dying amidst pedestrians in the heart of the city.
According to initial reports and eyewitness accounts, the animal collapsed due to physical exertion aggravated by adverse weather conditions. The pouring rain had made the asphalt slippery, making it extremely difficult for the horses to maintain their balance and perform their duties in the city traffic. However, it wasn't just the animal's death that sparked a wave of outrage, but the organizers' decision to continue the event despite the carcass still being on the road.
Borrelli's attack: "Traditions should not be at the expense of the weakest."
The incident was reported by an eyewitness to Francesco Emilio Borrelli, a member of the Green Left Alliance, who harshly condemned the handling of the event.
"What happened is a shocking example of human insensitivity," the parliamentarian declared, "which demands a clear stance on the use of animals at public events. The precautionary principle was lacking: exposing animals to foreseeable dangers, such as slippery asphalt and excessive exertion, is unacceptable."
The control issue
The MP then announced a regulatory battle, calling for stricter controls to ensure compatibility between animal welfare and the choreographic demands of historical reenactments. "The reference to tradition is welcome," Borrelli concluded, "but not at the expense of those who cannot defend themselves. Rigorous checks are needed on the physical and environmental conditions in which these animals are used."
The episode reignites the national debate on the opportunity to modernize local traditions, eliminating the use of animals where minimum safety and respect standards are not guaranteed.

But they don't even stop for a Christian!!!
For "this stuff" at least in the Middle Ages there was no asphalt
Come on, what do you want, they voted cool!!
The Middle Ages, you filthy shit troglodytes
Animal rights activists make me laugh, it could happen to a human or an animal to die suddenly.
But if it had been a human you would not have commented so fervently
What a shame!
I'm speechless...my heart fades after the holidays...you suck...the parade should have been stopped...
God stopped before Lazio.
And life is like that, so are living beings, animals and human beings.
It's truly strange that such a major event could have an accident like this. Animal safety should be a priority at these events. I hope there are more controls and that similar situations can be avoided in the future.
Imma Rondinella, animals are sentient beings, both by science and by law... so if you don't know things, don't express yourself...
Federica Domi and therefore are they worth more than a man's life?
And then animals were also created with a well-defined purpose, some are used for food, some to help with work, some to transport things or people and then there are those who serve to carry out purposes for the earth like bees do.
All respect for animals, but above all for humans.
Imma Rondinella are worth as much as you and I who are human animals...madam...WE ARE ANIMALS...science confirms it
wake up or live in a third world tribe?

Imma Rondinella, animals are sentient beings, both in science and in law... so if you don't know what you're talking about, don't express yourself because you'll make a terrible impression... we'll let those who know what they're talking about read your words... shame on you.
Imma Rondinella, seeing as she has the Madonna in pole position and this should make her a potentially charitable and good person, might be able to understand that one thing does not exclude the other, on the contrary:
A. whoever is kinder to the least fortunate and the voiceless is also much kinder to people than fervent bigots;
B. Could you see the Madonna and Jesus slaughtering an animal? Would they slaughter them or save them, in your opinion?
C. Instead of criticizing those who defend the weakest, tell us what you do for the good of humanity?
D. Do you know that your comment is indicative of "pride" toward your fellow man (animal rights activists are also people and are part of it) and that pride is a "sin"? Tell your priestly friends this on Sunday, when you go to confession.
Imma Rondinella, you're ridiculously talking nonsense and I'll play along: tell me where what you're saying is written... go ahead.
