Napoli is back with conviction and clear ideas. After their resounding 2-0 win over Lazio at the Olimpico, Matteo Politano outlines the season's course and raises the bar. "The goal is to improve on last year. We know it's not easy, given that there are three competitions, but we want to approach them in the best possible way," the Italian winger told DAZN, emphasizing the team's determination to grow despite a busy and demanding schedule.

The victory against the Biancocelesti also sends a strong signal in terms of the league standings. "We're close to AC Milan and now we're waiting for Inter," added Politano, highlighting the focus on the standings and the upcoming crucial matches. The victory against Sarri's team comes at the end of a solid and commanding performance, built especially in the first half. "We wanted to start this new year well against a strong team. We did well to start the season well and score two goals in the first half," explained the striker, one of the key players on the night in Rome.

Toward the end, however, the game heated up and nerves took over, with Mazzocchi and Marusic being sent off. "It's never nice to see these kinds of scenes, we're sorry, but we'll accept the decisions and move on," Politano commented, finishing without controversy in a match that nonetheless confirmed the team's maturity.

Amir Rrahmani, who scored the second goal from a set piece, also smiled. "We prepared the set pieces well, I'm happy to have scored, and we must continue to focus on this aspect because we can be dangerous," said the defender, emphasizing the importance of the work done this week. Napoli thus returns with ambition and confidence, determined not to settle.

It's a good start for Napoli, but I think there's still a lot to do. The three competitions are demanding, and we must be careful not to lose sight of our main objective, which is La Liga.
