Giacomo Raspadori is ready to return to Italy, but he won't be wearing either Roma or Napoli. According to transfer rumors collected by Sky Sport, the striker has chosen Atalanta, who have reportedly made significant moves in recent hours to bring him back to Serie A.

The Bergamo-based club has reportedly presented Atlético Madrid with an offer of €22 million plus bonuses, a proposal deemed competitive and capable of outpacing the other contenders. This move confirms Atlético Madrid's aggressive transfer strategy and their desire to strengthen their attack with a player already proven in the Italian league.

Raspadori thus looks set to return to Serie A under Palladino, in a coaching environment considered ideal for showcasing his skills. The final details of the deal remain to be finalized, but the direction now appears clear, with Atalanta poised to complete one of the most interesting signings of this transfer window.

Giacomo Raspadori is a good striker, but I don't know if Atalanta is the right choice for him. Roma and Napoli needed a player like him, but now we'll see how it goes.
