Naples – Poorly stored and untraceable food and violations of fire safety regulations: a restaurant in Piazza Cavour has been seized.
A joint operation by officers from the Stella Operational Unit of the Local Police, the State Police, staff from the Local Health Authority, and the firefighters led to the suspension of operations at a catering establishment, where numerous violations of health, environmental, and workplace safety regulations were discovered.
The checks involved a business located in Piazza Cavour and service areas and kitchens located on nearby Via Mario Pagano. The Local Police found four administrative violations regarding noise pollution, violations of municipal regulations regarding proper waste management and separation, as well as violations of municipal police regulations and the Highway Code for installing awnings and signs without permits.
The ASL found eight violations, four of which were significant and four serious.
Untraceable and poorly preserved food items were found in the restaurant, prompting the establishment to be placed under medical seizure and, consequently, the business was suspended.
