Vincenzo Salemme's theater hits the mark on Rai prime time. On January 5th, Rai1 deployed "Ogni promessa è debito," a comedy broadcast live from the Rai Auditorium in Naples, bringing the stage back to the center of the television narrative.
The Neapolitan playwright's show won the ratings race: 2.850.000 viewers tuned in and a 17,5% share, numbers that confirm the strength of theater on TV and open a new chapter in Rai Cultura's project dedicated to live performance.
"In the theater, audiences leave their homes to see you; with television, we enter people's homes. With live broadcasts, we bring the most authentic truth; there's no trickery or deception, and viewers sense it," Salemme emphasized, emphasizing the choice of broadcasting without filters or editing.
The success of "Every Promise is a Debt" is part of a fifty-year artistic journey, during which Salemme has continued to write, direct, and perform his own plays, adapting theatrical tradition to the new grammars of the small screen. Television thus confirms its strategic ally in the dialogue between stage and contemporary life, expanding the audience and transforming the living room into a truly national theater audience.

Too repetitive at a certain point I changed the channel
Well done and well done everyone
I saw it on Rai Play, Salemme is good at being good, but this one isn't up to the level of his other comedies.
Well done. Even better with the live broadcast.
Very good, well done everyone, funny
Horrible comedy, just a lot of noise
I feel sorry for Salemme, but really, no!
What a waste. Vicie' che tr succies..??
If this was a good actor, he didn't work once a year. For me, it's not funny, in fact the more you watch the comedy, the more you dislike him, he always says the same lines.
Boring comedy.
Jokes taken from comedy clips, what a drag!!!!
There wasn't much of an alternative on TV, I think many of us opted out of watching the comedy on Rai 1. I kept it on as background music, just for the sake of it! However, I wanted to participate in my own small way to reward the live TV broadcast! It's increasingly rare.
He's been doing the same things for years, it's tiring.
for God's sake...better a school play...shame for Salemme who I adore
Salemme's theater is a great thing, but sometimes I don't quite understand how they manage to get so many people in front of the TV, given that there's so much going on. The comedy is okay, but the ratings seem a bit low.
Salem and he didn't give his best.
Guido Romano, you see, he does theater, not television. Toni, watch Men and Women.
Anna Orgin as her profile
I love salami but this time it was boring and not funny at all
Gaetano Mares I understand you belong to his theater company. And I think you saw your g.brother and you always go like this or mind your own business.
Guido Romano, I wish I were part of his company. Oh no! I don't watch Big Brother.
Gaetano Mares what is related to Salemme????
Gaetano Mares, who asked him to look at my profile? I won't waste my time looking at his, which will be all cheerful and bubbly.
Anna Orgin because I had a feeling. In fact, it was confirmed.
Gaetano Mares can keep his confirmation, I'm not interested in his opinions.
Anna Orgin, but I don't even want to give her any. I wouldn't waste my time on a chronically disadvantaged person.
Gaetano Mares .how dare you be such an idiot!!!!
Gaetano Mares learns Italian before writing bullshit, he writes it down entirely. And then that's it, you're pissing him off.
Ratings boom? Who knows!
Very good
