Salerno – Police have located two minors, a boy and a girl, who disappeared from Salerno in recent days. They were found on the afternoon of January 2nd, when officers from the Police Headquarters' Flying Squad responded to a report received on the emergency number 112 shortly after 5:00 PM.
Initial investigations revealed that the two youths had voluntarily left their homes due to difficult family situations. Investigations at the police station also revealed that one of the two had already been subject to a juvenile court order and had arbitrarily left the foster care facility.
Following the discovery, the prosecutor of the Juvenile Prosecutor's Office on duty was informed, who ordered separate measures: the minor was placed in custody with his parent, while the minor was placed in a protected facility, with the immediate involvement of the relevant social services.

It's very sad that the two minors are missing, but I'm happy they've been found. Of course, more attention needs to be paid to the family situations that lead to these events. I hope they get help.
