San Giuseppe Vesuviano – A cellar transformed into a clandestine warehouse for counterfeits. This is what officers from the San Giuseppe Vesuviano Police Station discovered during a territorial inspection, which resulted in a report and a major seizure.

At the center of the operation was a 41-year-old man of Moroccan origin, already known to law enforcement. During a search of the premises he used, officers found a veritable arsenal of counterfeit products, carefully concealed inside numerous bags.

The haul consisted of 379 items of clothing and 36 pairs of shoes, all bearing the illicit trademarks of international luxury and fashion brands. If the goods had been authentic, they would have had a very high market value.

The man was subsequently reported to the Torre Annunziata Public Prosecutor's Office for the crimes of introducing and selling products with counterfeit markings. The investigation, conducted by the local police station, confirms the State Police's commitment to combating counterfeiting, which damages the legal economy and deceives consumers. The seizures prevent the commercialization of products often manufactured under unregulated conditions.
