Sarno – A young man from Sarno was stabbed in the chest during a violent family argument and admitted to the surgery department of the Martiri di Villa Malta hospital with penetrating lung trauma.
The boy, identified by the initials MI, is not in danger of dying and his condition, according to what has been learned, is stable.
The incident reportedly occurred on Friday evening, inside the family home in the town's historic center. According to initial reports, following a particularly heated argument, the young man was stabbed in the chest with a knife by his father, AI, who was already known to law enforcement.
After being injured, the boy managed to escape the apartment and reach the street, where a resident administered first aid and alerted emergency services. He was subsequently transported to the hospital under emergency conditions.
Once at the "Martiri di Villa Malta" hospital, paramedics found trauma consistent with a stab wound, with a perforated lung. The prognosis and further clinical investigations remain under medical supervision.
The Carabinieri of the Sarno station, under the command of Lieutenant Antonio Nasti, are investigating the incident. They are committed to reconstructing the exact dynamics of the attack and clarifying responsibilities, listening to people informed of the facts and acquiring any elements useful to the investigation.
