A new seismic swarm is affecting the Phlegraean Fields: the strongest shock, with a magnitude of 2.6, was recorded at 5:44 PM and felt by the residents of Pozzuoli. Other events, occurring starting at 5:27 PM, had a magnitude of less than 1.0 and were only mildly felt.
The Municipality of Pozzuoli reported the situation on its social media channels, reassuring residents: no damage to people or buildings has been reported so far. Just two days ago, a magnitude 3.1 earthquake struck at the same epicenter, also without consequences.
The Campi Flegrei area remains under constant monitoring: authorities urge caution, but emphasize that there are currently no immediate risks.
