Rome – The State Police have carried out a series of searches targeting individuals believed to be involved in the creation and management of the Facebook page "Mia moglie," which was the subject of numerous reports filed last August on the Postal Police website www.commissariatodips.it.
The investigation, coordinated by the Rome Public Prosecutor's Office, led to the identification of a 52-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man, as well as the owner of the account used to administer the group: a 70-year-old man living in the Lecce area, who died on March 30, 2025.
The operations were conducted by specialists from the Postal Police and Cyber Security Service, with the support of the Cyber Security Operations Center (COSC) in Bari and the Cyber Security Operations Section (SOSC) in Lecce. During the searches, several computer devices were seized, which will now be subjected to forensic analysis to determine the roles and responsibilities of the individuals under investigation.
According to what has emerged, the Facebook group, which had thousands of members, was used to share and comment on images of women, often referred to as "wives" or "partners," likely published without the consent of the individuals depicted.
Following a report from the Postal Police, Facebook permanently closed the group and collaborated with investigators in the investigation.

I read this article and I think the police's work is important. However, I wonder why there are so many similar groups on Facebook and no one intervenes first. Let's hope justice takes its course.
