Traffic disruptions along the Amalfi Coast, where a landslide has forced the temporary closure of the state road 163 "Amalfitana" in the municipality of Maiori, in the province of Salerno. Following heavy rainfall in the last few hours, boulders, stones, and debris have fallen onto the roadway, necessitating a traffic closure in both directions between km 36,300 and km 36,400.
Anas teams, firefighters, and law enforcement officers responded to the scene, securing the area and removing the landslide debris to restore normal traffic flow as quickly as possible.
For light vehicle traffic, Anas has designated the Chiunzi Pass as an alternative route. Meanwhile, to limit inconvenience to commuters and travelers, special public transport connections have been activated.

I hope commuters can find viable alternatives, but I wonder if there's more information on when the road will reopen. Frequent updates for everyone are crucial.
I'm sorry for the inconvenience along the Amalfi Coast, but it's important that the authorities work quickly to resolve the situation and restore traffic flow as soon as possible.
