The fight against drug dealing in San Nicola la Strada intensifies with the arrest of a 25-year-old from Caivano, an episode that reveals not only the continuing presence of crime but also the persistent commitment of law enforcement to monitoring and combating these activities in the province.
SAN NICOLA LA STRADA – Yesterday afternoon, the Carabinieri arrested a 25-year-old man from Caivano, already known to law enforcement, who is believed to be responsible for the sale of narcotics. The incident occurred in San Nicola la Strada, in the province of Caserta, when officers observed the young man stopping in front of a house gate to deliver a dose of cocaine to a buyer, receiving a 50-euro note in exchange.
Immediately stopped by the Carabinieri, the 25-year-old was arrested on the spot. Subsequent investigations revealed that, in addition to being required to report daily to the judicial police, the young man had driven to the drug dealing location without a license, which he had never obtained. For this reason, he was also charged with driving without a license, while the buyer was reported to the Prefecture as a drug user.
By order of the judicial authorities, the arrested man was placed under house arrest pending a summary trial. This operation confirms the Carabinieri's focus on combating drug dealing in the Caserta area and their constant monitoring of the areas most exposed to this phenomenon.
