Acerra – Shots were fired in the middle of the night outside a gas station in the city center. It happened around 2 a.m. between December 31st and January 1st on Corso Vittorio Emanuele, near the Q8 gas station, a frequent stop for motorists at all hours.
According to an initial reconstruction by the Carabinieri of the local station, who responded to the scene a few minutes after the report, some customers of the gas station came to blows or at least engaged in a heated argument for reasons still under investigation.
During the altercation, one of the men involved reportedly pulled out a gun and fired two shots, likely intended to intimidate. The bullets did not hit anyone: two spent shell casings were found at the scene, and no injuries were reported to anyone present or bystanders.

Witness identification and interviews are underway to accurately reconstruct the incident and identify the actual perpetrator of the two gunshots.
Investigations are continuing rapidly to determine whether this was a personal settling of scores, a traffic-related incident, or another type of dispute yet to be clarified. No one has been reported or arrested.
