The SuperEnalotto jackpot has surpassed €100 million, becoming the second-highest prize in the world. Since the game's launch in 1997, there have been 118 jackpot wins.
The last wins close to the €100 million mark date back to 2008, when €100,7 million was won in Catania, and to 2024, when the “6” brought in €101,5 million in Naples: both still rank among the top 10 highest wins in SuperEnalotto history.
Geographically, almost all Italian regions have recorded at least one jackpot: the exceptions are Valle d'Aosta and Molise, which have never "christened" a "6." Another recurring finding concerns the calendar: in 47% of cases, the win came on a Saturday. Until October 22, 2024, Trentino-Alto Adige had also never recorded a jackpot, but then the win in Riva del Garda (TN) updated the map of regions "at quota one," which also includes Liguria and Basilicata.
The record for the most "6s" belongs to Campania, with 19 jackpots overall, 14 of which were in the province of Naples alone. The last jackpot in the Neapolitan capital was won in 2024, ten years after the 2014 win in Castellammare di Stabia (Naples).
Finally, there is the online channel: in 2023, a record was set with a jackpot of over 73,8 million, won on March 25 for the first time online on the Sisal.it website.
