Torre del Greco – A robbery occurred overnight on Via Calastro. Around 3:00 a.m., Carabinieri from the Mobile Radio unit responded to a report of an assault on a couple.

According to initial reports, two masked robbers approached a car and dragged a 27-year-old man and his girlfriend from the vehicle. The young man, attempting to defend his girlfriend, allegedly fought with the two men and was stabbed in the chest and shoulder.

Rescued by 118, the 27-year-old was taken to the hospital: his condition is not serious and his life is not in danger. Investigations are ongoing to identify those responsible and reconstruct the exact circumstances of the incident.

The night before in Ercolano, a robbery took place in the Observatory area.

The previous evening, in Ercolano, the Carabinieri intervened around 1:00 a.m. in the area of the Vesuvius Observatory following an armed robbery involving a 30-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman, who had been caught in their car.

Two hooded individuals allegedly broke the right front window of the car using a gun and, under threat, forced them to hand over a bag containing documents, credit cards, and money, as well as a smartphone and two gold rings.

Before fleeing, they also allegedly took the car keys; the investigation has been entrusted to the Carabinieri of the Ercolano station, who will also be checking any surveillance cameras in the area.

The common thread and the investigations

In both cases, the robbers are described as hooded and the attack focused on couples in cars, with rapid attacks and direct threats to the victims.

Investigators are working to reconstruct the exact dynamics and verify any connections between the incidents, also given the proximity of the affected areas.

If you tell me the exact time and day of the incident on Via Calastro (besides the "around 3 a.m.") and whether or not you want to mention the type of weapon used (knife/bladed weapon), I'll make it even more "closed" for publication.

I hope the boy is okay, but unfortunately these incidents are not new. It's important that law enforcement act quickly to find the culprits and ensure everyone's safety.

Yes, I agree with you. It's strange that these robberies are all happening in the same place. They should increase the Carabinieri presence to prevent similar incidents.

The situation is worrying; the acts of street violence must be stopped. I don't know if the authorities are doing enough to protect citizens; more controls and security are needed in high-risk areas.
