Caserta – It wasn't just another fight, but a brutal attack that transformed a home in Villa di Briano into a horror scene. A 37-year-old man, already known to the justice system, was arrested red-handed by the Carabinieri of Cesa and San Marcellino on very serious charges: domestic violence, personal injury, and stalking.

The intervention and rescue

The alarm was raised in the middle of Wednesday. According to the police's reconstruction, the man allegedly attacked his partner for trivial reasons, repeatedly striking her. The force of the impact was so severe that it required immediate intervention by 118. The woman was rushed to the emergency room of the "G. Moscati" hospital in Aversa, where doctors issued a worrying medical report.

X-rays confirmed the severity of the blows: the victim suffered a compound fracture of the sacrum (S5), as well as several deep abrasions to the face and scalp. The prognosis is 35 days, barring complications.

The 37-year-old was immediately taken to prison. After completing the usual formalities at the barracks, the Carabinieri escorted him to the Santa Maria Capua Vetere prison, where he remains at the disposal of the judicial authorities. The arrest is part of efforts to combat gender-based violence, which have intensified in recent months throughout the province of Caserta.

The attack described in the article is truly worrying, but I don't understand how such behavior continues to occur. Greater attention is needed from the authorities and society to prevent similar episodes of violence.
