Naples – During the night between Tuesday and Wednesday, the State Police arrested a 34-year-old Neapolitan man with a criminal record for theft, resisting arrest, and assaulting a public official.
The incident occurred in Vico Cacciottoli, in the Vomero district, where the criminal had targeted a construction site located within a condominium area.
Officers from the Office of General Prevention and Public Rescue and the Vomero Police Station responded quickly after a report reached the Police Headquarters Operations Room. On site, officers located the 34-year-old man attempting to leave the construction site, dragging recently stolen electrical equipment with him.

Knife and stolen goods recovered
During the search, in addition to the stolen electrical equipment, the officers found a switchblade with an 8-centimeter blade on the arrested man. For this reason, the man was also charged with illegal possession of offensive objects.
The stolen goods were fully recovered and returned to the rightful owner of the construction site. The 34-year-old is now at the disposal of the judicial authorities, pending the decision of the competent magistrate.
