Liveri – The fifth edition of the "Donna, lo deve a te" Award will be held on February 13, 2026, at 8:00 PM, in the evocative setting of the Sanctuary of Santa Maria a Parete. The event, which aims to celebrate women's excellence and their contributions to scientific, social, and civic culture, will this year benefit from a high-profile Scientific Committee.

The committee, whose membership was announced today, brings together cross-disciplinary expertise to lend authority and value to the award. Its members include prominent figures from the local area and beyond: from healthcare, with Dr. Maria Galdi, director of the Home Care Unit, to entrepreneurship, with Mariagrazia Galeotafiore, a multiple recipient of awards for her social commitment.

The institutional world is represented by the mayor of Liveri, Raffaele Coppola, and former MP Luigi Iovino. Contributing to safety and legality are the experience of Carabinieri Commander Giovanni Mautone, Police Inspector Donato Vuolo, and Penitentiary Superintendents Rosaria Nappi and Nicola Auriemma.

The panel also includes university statistics professor Biagio Simonetti, journalists Giuliana Covella (Il Mattino), Filomena Carrella, and Autilia Napolitano, school principals Anna Iossa and Vincenzo Falco, CGIL trade unionists Maria Parete Russo and Marco Berlingieri, and cassation lawyer Adele De Notaris, founder of Spaziodonna Salerno.

"This extraordinary partnership makes the project not only authoritative, but authentically human," comments Giovanna Russo, the Award's creator. "Thanks to this exceptional synergy, the Award becomes a shared emotion, a vision that becomes action."

The names of the new awardees will be announced soon, selected for their stories of commitment, talent, and determination, which embody the spirit of the award: recognizing those who, every day, contribute to social change.

I agree with you, it's essential to give a voice to those who work behind the scenes. Perhaps there are beautiful stories of women who deserve to be told and valued in their daily commitment.

The award event is very important because it celebrates women who have done so much for society, but I hope that they are not just famous names, but also ordinary people who make a difference.
