Carabinieri from the Operational Unit of the Naples Stella Company arrested a 17-year-old responsible for a robbery that took place last night at the "Centro Direzionale" metro stop in Piazza Cenni.
The security guard's alarm and the military's intervention
Shortly before 7:00 PM, a security guard reported a robbery in progress to the Carabinieri operations center. The minor, along with two other boys, had just attacked a woman. The guard intervened quickly, helping to apprehend one of the fugitives.
Officers arrived on the scene and reconstructed the incident: the three men, dressed in dark clothing with hoods down, approached the victim while she was talking on the phone. One of them forcefully struck her from behind, petrifying her, before fleeing with the smartphone.
The victim is in shock and faces a 10-day prognosis.

Investigations are underway into the accomplices, and the minor is in a protected facility.
The Carabinieri are continuing their investigation to identify and capture the other two perpetrators, who are still at large. The 17-year-old has been transferred to the Colli Aminei reception center, pending a decision from the juvenile justice authorities.

It's strange that these young men commit robberies like this, but I don't understand why people don't react. Security should be tighter, and the police should intervene sooner. I hope the woman recovers soon.
